The place
The Kerné craft cidery was founded in 1947 by Pierre Bosser. Generations have followed since, each adding its own chapter to the family story.
The cidre is built from more than twenty apple varieties picked locally in the Pays Bigouden and southern Finistère.
The Bosser family keeps its blending secrets close. The result is a set of ciders and fruit juices a step above the usual.
If you pass near Pouldreuzic, the cidery itself is worth the detour. The visitor space is large, and you can try a surprising aperitif and an organic cider vinegar.
The welcome is warm, and there is plenty of advice on offer. A worthwhile stop for any épicurieux.
