The place
Château de Rey is set in Canet en Roussillon, ten kilometres from Perpignan. It spreads across forty hectares at the tail end of the Aspres massif. Four generations of winemakers have worked this distinctive *terroir*.
<a href="http://www.chateauderey.com">Château de Rey</a> produces AOP Côtes du Roussillon and IGP Côtes Catalanes in red, white and rosé. They also pour Muscat de Rivesaltes.
For visitors who want to linger, the estate's Catalan mas has two gîtes for hire, a short hop from the sea.
