The place
Océanic Gin Rétha is a distilled gin that draws on what the sea provides. Each ingredient comes from its immediate surroundings. Rétha Spiritueux makes a gin with character, built around Fucus seaweed gathered from wild rocks on the Île de Ré.
The Charente distillery picks local botanicals to capture the feeling of a walk along the Atlantic coast. Each one is distilled separately, then blended in fixed proportions. Juniper and ginger bring the freshness. Pepper and lemon give the lift. The briny notes come from the seaweed.
A careful recipe that puts you on the edge of the Atlantic.
